Biography

Dr. Nadine Isaac-Dennis is an Assistant Professor in the School of Graduate Psychology & Counseling.  at °®¶¹´«Ã½, where she also serves as Program Director for the Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling programs. A proud alumna of °®¶¹´«Ã½, Dr. Isaac-Dennis earned her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling before completing her PhD in Counseling and Counselor Education at the University of Florida.

She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan and holds national credentials as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Additionally, she is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) with advanced training in grief counseling and social-emotional support.

Dr. Isaac-Dennis brings a wealth of experience in teaching and clinical supervision, having worked with graduate students in counseling and counseling psychology at °®¶¹´«Ã½ and the University of the Southern Caribbean. Her clinical background includes work in university counseling centers, school-based mental health services, and national education systems across the United States and the Caribbean.

Current Research or Professional Activities

Dr. Isaac-Dennis is actively engaged in research focused on the role of school mental health personnel in delivering trauma-informed care to students affected by community violence in Trinidad.
