The sixth annual STEM weekend is coming up—September 19–22, 2019.

This year we have teams traveling from California, Georgia, New Mexico, North Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania and locally to experience °®¶¹´«Ã½ University’s STEM Labs. We have over 70 students registered for this weekend. SciFEST provides high school students the unique opportunity to do lab experiments, visit with professors and current °®¶¹´«Ã½ students, participate in worship opportunities on-campus, and check out career options. Visitors will rotate to eight departments; teams will problem-solve, work collaboratively, and get their "hands dirty." SciFEST culminates with a vespers and Quiz Bowl game show, where all the participants will test their STEM knowledge in Newbold Auditorium (BUL 153) at 7:30 p.m. This final event is open to the public.

SciFEST is open to all high school students and their parents. Individuals are welcome to attend and will be placed on a team. Registration is required. This year's theme is light.

If you know of a high school student who might be interested, please encourage them to plan to attend next year.
